Baku, Fineko/abc.az. The Committee for State Property Management is ongoing the measures to control preservation and rational use of public assets.
According to the Committee, for the past 10 months inventory was conducted in about 140 state-governed institutions and organizations.
“For the reported period financial reports of 405 JSCs was subjected to analysis. 470 JSCs and 210 state-governed institutions underwent inventory,” the Committee informed.
“Monitoring also covered 120 JSCs and state-run enterprises with the purpose of study of condition and calculation of dividends,” it was reported.
On 6 June 2007 Azerbaijan endorsed State Programme on improvement of state property management and established a coordinating commission under the Committee for its implementation.
