Baku, Fineko/abc.az. The State Property Management Committee has taken to court 40 suits over rent-charge non-payment in 2009.

Committee chairperson Kerem Hasanov says that for Jan-Apr 2009 nearly 250 sites of state real estate and about 80 land areas were rented to individuals and legal entities.

“At the same tme close to 120 tenants were sent out letters warning about a rent-charge debt. For the reported period we referred to court up to 50 applications instituting proceedings over nonpayment of rent-charge. Takin into account suits instituted for the past year, courts ruled around 40 decisions on these cases. For Jan-Apr of the year country’s budget received approximately AZN 1.7 million from all types of rented state property sites,” Hasanov said.

For the last 4 months individuals and legal entities carried out 3,050 payments for state property rent through computer-controlled system.
