Baku, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan is completing the process of small privatization launched in spring of 1996.

Kerem Hasanov, the chairperson of the State Property Affairs Committee, says that before the end of 2009 the Committee plans to end privatization of small-size enterprises and sites.

“By the present small privatization has almost been finished. It has remained to carry out its small part, and we will try to do that until the end of the year,” Hasanov said.

The country has privatized 42,000 small-size enterprises and sites.
