Baku, Fineko/abc.az. The State Committee for Property Affairs of Azerbaijan has announced an investment competition for sale of 99.78% of shares of OJSC Mingecevir Shushe Lifi (Mingachevir Fiberglass).

Both domestic and foreign investors can participate in the competition.

Claimants should submit proposals for transfer of AZN 280,000 to State Budget, present at least 12,000 privatization cheques (vouchers) (for foreigners: also an equal quantity of privatization options), and a 5% bank guarantee of the investment offer cost.

Deadline for documents and bids is 30 June 2010. Estimate of bids will begin on 2 July 2010.

Mingecevir Shushe Lifi OJSC is situated in Mingachevir city. The factory produces fiberglass, glass materials for electrical insulation and glass bands.

The competition subject is 241,888 shares with overall nominal value of AZN 483,776.
