Baku, Fineko/abc.az. Communication and Information Technologies Ministry of Azerbaijan is conducing recapitalization of national telecommunication operator- Аztelekom Industrial Association.

Today in Baku Communication and Information Technologies Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Abbasov has reported that Аztelekom Industrial Association is actively developing and proposals from local and foreign companies wishing to participate in its development, are rising day by day.

" In parallel we are carrying out work on pre-privatization restructuring of the Industrial Association and implementation of a number of investment projects the largest of which is estimated at AZN 350 million. In this connection Aztelekom is recapitalizing and waiting for its privatization ",- A. Abbasov said.

The Association’s largest project assumes provision of all the country regions with fiber optic cable and supply of high speed Internet access to end users. In accord with the practice established in the country, all state investments in state companies go to their capital.
