Baku, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan International Mineral Resources Operating Company (AIMROC ltd) has announced the next tender for works on Chovdar field.

AIMROC reports that the tender relates to construction of water supply system for an ore mill on Chovdar field. Deadline for acceptance of bids: 12 am on 13 July.

The Company is implementing a PSA on development of gold fields Garadagh, Chovdar, Geydag, Dashkesan, Keynemeden area and Kyurekchay.

Earlier, the Environment & Natural Resources Ministry called the primary estimation of gold and silver reserves at field Chovdar in Gedabek region of Azerbaijan: industrial reserves at the field total 44.61 tons of gold and 164.25 tons of silver. The Ministry announced further exploration to specify reserves by company Londex, field development contractor.

Exploration company Londex Resources SA leads the consortium of investment companies, established for mining projects in Azerbaijan. Branch of operating company AIMROC (Azerbaijan International Mineral Resources Operating Company) in Azerbaijan was opened in 2007.
