Baku, Fineko/abc.az. President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan ordered yesterday on the construction of the Museum of Literature in Gazakh.

Under the Order, the Presidential Reserve Fund of State Budget 2012 allocated AZN 5 million to the Gazakh Executive Power for construction of the Museum of Literature in the city of Gazakh. The Ministry of Finance is to ensure financing.

The Order is motivated by the importance of identifying the potential of young creative generation, preservation and promotion of national directions of literature and literary & cultural heritage of the people, and relevant request made on the occasion by writers and poets of the region.

The President pointed out that Gazakh region nurtured such outstanding personalities as Molla Veli Vidadi, Molla Panah Vagif, Samed Vurgun, Mehdi Hussein, Ismail Shikhli, Mirvarid Dilbazi who gave valuable gems of literary art to the poetry. He also emphasized that the lack of necessary conditions (for deep study and promotion of life and work of brilliant artists, holding of meetings, gatherings of creative people, and evenings of poetry) in the Samed Vurgun House of Poetry, Memorial Museum of Molla Veli Vidadi and Molla Panah Vagif operating in Gazakh region requires creation of a modern literary center.
