Baku, Fineko/abc.az. The General Office of Public Prosecutor brought an accusation against two people arrested because of the mass people shooting in Azerbaijan State Oil Academy (ASOA) on April 30, 2009.

The General Office of Public Prosecutor said the accusations were brought against Nadir Aliyev and Javidan Amirov, who were arrested earlier in connection with the attack in ASOA.

Nadir Aliyev was blamed for asquiescence for detection under article 122.2 of the Criminal Code (premeditated murder of two or more persons committed in the state of strong mental agitation), 120.2.4. (premeditated murder of two or more persons committed with special cruelty or by publically dangerous way), 29 (attempt at a crime), 228.1 (illegal acquisition, transferring, sale, storage, transportation or carrying of fire-arms, component parts of it, ammunition (excluding hunting smooth-bore and component parts of it), explosives or blasting assemblies).

Javidan Amirov was brought accusations under article 228.1 (illegal acquisition, transferring, sale, storage, transportation or carrying of fire-arms, component parts of it, ammunition (excluding hunting smooth-bore and component parts of it), explosives or blasting assemblies) and 234.1 (illegal acquisition or storage of drugs or psychotropic agents, volume of which exceeds the one required for personal consumption, without the purpose of selling them).

Nadir Aliyev was arrested on Friday, of committing the crime with 29-year-old gunman Farda Gadirov, who killed himself at the scene as police closed in. In course of the  investigation it was also arrested a dweller of Georgia’s Marneuli region, Gadirov’s relative Javidan Amirov, in whose Baku flat the police found 12 cartridges from AKM submachine gun and “Makarov” pistol as well as 5.4 grams of hashish.

On April 30 the gunman committed shooting in ASOA’s new building, following which it was killed 12 people and injured 13 ones. Nine persons with wounds of different severity are still in the hospital. The gunman had citizenship ID on Georgian’s citizen Farda Gadirov residing in Dashtepe village of Marneuli region.
