Baku, Fineko/abc.az. The Azerbaijani Ministry of Economic Development plans to create a portal, connected with electronic trade.

The  Ministry informed that within the framework of support program of private sector, which is implemented by the German Society for Technical Cooperation (GTZ), the Ministry intends to create the web portal connected with electronic trade.

“The Ministry and GTZ have already started work for creation of the portal. Over next months negotiations will be held with donors on management, as well as determination of expenses on maintenance of the portal,” it was informed.

After the portal will be handed over for using, works will be carried out to inform and teach the public, including manufacturers of agricultural products and businessmen.

The portal is being created in order to implement the task, which was given to the Ministry of Economic Development on development of work in the sphere of creation of electronic trade in Azerbaijan within the framework of implementation of state program for stable provision with food the population of the republic in 2008-2015, as well as to support manufacturers of farm products to access the free market.
