Azerbaijan government obliged to reduce growth of GDP, industry and population’s income in 2011

Baku, Fineko/abc.az. The general collective agreement between the government, trade unions and employers for 2010-2011, concluded by the Cabinet of Ministers , the Azerbaijan Trade Union Confederation (ATUC) and Azerbaijan Confederation of Entrepreneurs (ACE)  contains strange macroeconomic operations of the parties.

The Cabinet informed that  in compliance with the agreement the partiers were obliged to work over provision of reduction of gross national product (GDP) from 6.8 % in 2010 to 5.1 % in 2011, industrial production from 7.8 % to 3.9 % respectively, and the population’s cash income from 10.1 % to 9 %.

The parties also are ready to provide stability of agriculture (by 4 % in 2010 and 2011) against the background of acceleration of growth rate of retail goods turnover from 7.1 % to 7.5 %.

The agreement was concluded on the basis of the decision №28 of the Cabinet of Ministers on February 4, 2010 and has come into force from the moment of signing.
