Baku, Fineko/abc.az. The Azerbaijan State Securities Committee (ASSC) finishes work over drafting of the Draft Law on Covered Bonds.

Chairman of ASSC Rufat Aslanli said that in the end of last year they received last comments on the Draft Law from experts.

“We hope that during the first quarter to complete work over final version of the Draft Law and submit it to the Cabinet of Ministers,” R. Aslanli said.

The World Bank (WB) gives consultations during drafting the Draft Law.

Since summer 2009, the first covered bonds have appeal to the country – secured bonds of the Azerbaijan Mortgage Fund (AMF) under the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
