Baku, Fineko/abc.az. MPs of the Azerbaijani parliament offer new initiatives in process of discussion of the draft law on the state budget for 2010.

Chairman of the  Azerbaijani Parliamentary Committee for Agricultural Policy Eldar Ibrahimov said that it is necessary to develop cooperative farming for further development of agriculture.

“For this purpose, it is necessary to pass the law on agricultural cooperation  and adopt the state program of assistance in the  cooperation,” E. Ibrahimov said. At that, he has clear conception of cooperative development.

“In order to enlarge internal and external competitive ability of farming and start exporting local agricultural production to world market, it is necessary to launch construction of modern processing enterprises with transfer of them at the disposal of agricultural cooperatives.

It is also necessary to use at the most possibilities of Azerittifaq cooperative association,”  E. Ibrahimov said.

At that, he said that in 2010 expenses of the state budget for farming will make AZN 382.7 million that will exceed by 15% the actual funds, allocated in 2009.
