Baku, Fineko/abc.az. Pension insurance system of Azerbaijan has been awarded next international prize.
The State Social Protection Fund of Azerbaijan informs that the Fund became the winner of the International Social Security Association’s contest in nomination “Effective management with ICT use”. The SSPF was awarded an honorary prize. The prize was handed over at the relevant ceremony in Warsaw.
“Awarding of such a prize to Azerbaijan at the European Forum is an obvious example of successful realization of pension reforms in the country,” it was reported.
Currently the Fund’s central database contains information about 1,308,432 pensioners and 1.64 million insured persons. Today already 97.4% of pensioners get pensions through plastic cards.
