Baku, Fineko/abc.az. Today Azerbaijan’s leading cellular operator Azercell Telekom LLC has published the results of 2009.

At a relevant press conference AT president Ali Agan said that thre past year was very successful for them.

“AT has proved again its leading position in non-oil sector of Azerbaijan,” he said.

Ulviya Hasanzadeh, the head of the Department for Corporate Relations & Social Liability, said, in her turn, that Azercell was the largest taxpayer of the domestic non-oil sector and paid $150.7 millionof taxes to country’s budget for 2009.

“Over the last 13 years this sum makes up $753.6 million. As a whole, in 2009 the share of Azercell’s payments to State Budget totaled 2.7%,” Hasanzadeh said.
