Baku, Fineko/abc.az. The Regional Development Center in Azerbaijan intends to attract the public’s attention to pollution problems of the Caspian Sea.
Director of the center Chingiz Ismaylov said that Caspian Day will take place within the framework of project of the World Bank (WB) in ecology sphere jointly with the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.
“Within the framework of this initiative we will try to attract the public, especially youth to take part in cleaning work of coast of the Caspian Sea. We will conduct a round table summarizing the results of the measure,” C. Ismaylov said.
Caspian Day is planned to be held till the end of the year. An employee of the center has already visited Makhachkala, where discussions on this subject took place.
