Every eighth resident of Azerbaijan is a migrant
Baku, Fineko/abc.az. Every eighth resident in Azerbaijan is a migrant, whereas in the world this indicator is one out of 35 persons.
The State Migration Service of Azerbaijan reports that 97-98% of migrants in the world are the other states’ citizens and in Azerbaijan more than 90% of them are Azerbaijanis and 70% are internally displaced persons from the territories occupied by Armenia.
