More than 50 Azerbaijan schools’ directors could not get computer literacy certificates
Baku, Fineko/abc.az. Baku Pedagogic Institute for Increasing Qualification and Re-training of Personnel has held award of certificates to secondary schools’ directors on completing the courses of information and communications technologies. Minister of Education Misir Mardanov said the trainings involved more than 300 directors of Baku and Sumgait secondary schools. “Today the first-level certificates have been received by 108 directors while 50 ones could not pass the training. School directors are required to know computer not just at the level of a simple operator,” Minister said. Those 50 directors will have an opportunity to pass the exam again. “In the near future we will create all conditions for studying information and communications technologies not only for directors, but also for form-masters and other teachers as well,” Minister stated.
