Baku, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan’s investment attractiveness for foreign banks grows every year.

At today’s ceremony of opening of OJSC Bank VTB (Azerbaijan) Alim Guliyev, first deputy chairman of board of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, said that in crisis period opening of the Bank VTB branch in Azerbaijan testifies of stability and trust of to Azerbaijan.

“Foreign investors’ interest towards Azerbaijan is in force. We have been applied by overseas banks on the occasion of acquisition of equity stakes in local banks or appearance at the domestic market. There are also concrete applications from CIS member countries’ banks and foreign banks,” Guliyev said.
