Baku, Fineko/abc.az. The State Migration Service of Azerbaijan has detained another 79 foreigners who passed the border illegally.

The Service reports that its employees conducted raids in Baku and on the Absheron Peninsula.

In the course of relevant inspection the Service employees detained foreign citizens who illegally passed the border of Azerbaijan, those who engaged in labour activity without relevant individual permission and reside in the country on invalid documents. Decisions, corresponding to the country’s administrative legislation were made in respect of detained people.

Earlier this month as a result of the raids in Guba and Gusar the Service detained 656 foreigners, in Baku 360 migrants, in Salyan, Masalli, Yardimli 63 migrants who illegally passed the border and conducted illicit labour activity in the country. As a result, it has been revealed 1,156 illegal aliens for June.
