Baku, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan has taken part in a world seminar of the International Association of Insurance Supervisors organized in Manama, Bahrain.

The Insurance Supervision Service of the Azerbaijan Ministry of Finance informs that the seminar Azerbaijan was represented by Zyaka Mirzoyev, the head of the Department’s Office on Regulation of Financial & Insurance Markets.

The seminar was devoted mainly to project ComFrame on general approach towards control over active insurance groups at international level prepared by the IAIS workgroup.

Along with that the seminar presented information about preparation of the Association’s Basic Principles, solvency, capital conformity, and expected changes in corporate governance standards in connection with preparation of the principles.

It was made a decision to arrange this October an annual conference and a session of the Association in Dubai, UAE.

Azerbaijan is a member of the International Association of Insurance Supervisors.
