Pasha Bank Georgia has increased its loan portfolio

August 2, Fineko/abc.az. PASHA Bank's subsidiary in Georgia, Pasha Bank Georgia, completed the 1st half of 2022 with losses, ABC.AZ informs with reference to bank's report.

Bank's assets at the end of the 2nd quarter amounted to 457.4 million lari (by 44 million lari, or about 10% more versus the 2021 same term).

The growth of assets almost entirely relates to the growth of the loan portfolio – after an increase of 45 million lari or 15.6%, the loan portfolio grew to 333 million lari.

There were no significant changes in the bank's other indicators.

Among the assets of Pasha Bank Georgia, 37.3 million lari are held in accounts at the National Bank of Georgia, 43.8 million lari at other banks. Another 41 million lari were invested in securities.

Bank's liabilities for this period increased by 7.7 million lari up to 365 million lari. The increase in liabilities is associated with an increase in the term deposits of the bank – from 138 million lari up to 167 million lari.

Pasha Bank Georgia’s total capital grew from 74 million up to 92 million lari, an increase of 18 million lari.

However, the bank incurs huge losses: shareholders invested 129 million lari in the bank, about 37 million lari of them went to a loss. As a result, the total capital amounted to 92 million lari.
