Erstebank in Montenegro starts massively blocking payment cards of Russians

August 8, Fineko/abc.az. The subsidiary branch of Austrian bank Erstebank in Montenegro began on 4 August massively blocking payment cards to customers with Russian citizenship. According to users, the bank forcibly closes the accounts of Russians.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the foreign media that both tourists and clients who have a residence permit in Montenegro face problems.

Russians living in the European Union have encountered difficulties with servicing in local banks before. Russian citizens were blocked accounts and transfers for no apparent reason.
