Amount of overdue loans down 27.7%


August 16, Fineko/ According to the Central Bank, as of July 1, the loan portfolio of banking and other credit organizations of the country increased by 23.3% compared to the same period last year and amounted to 18 billion 818.2 million manats in the equivalent of the national currency, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee.

It is noted that long-term loans accounted for 15,74.4 million manats or 80.1% of the total loan portfolio.

97.3% of loans were issued by banks, 2.7% by non-bank credit institutions and credit unions.
The amount of overdue loans for the year decreased by 27.7%, to 661.2 million manats, and amounted to 3.5% of the total loan portfolio.
