Azerbaijan asks WB’s support for Small & Medium Business Agency

May 30, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijani Economy Minister Shahin Mustafayev has received Mercy Tembon, World Bank’s Regional Director for South Caucasus.

The Ministry of Economy reports that the current state and prospects of expanding cooperation were discussed during the meeting.

"Minister Mustafayev stressed importance of ongoing projects and continued support for the private sector, establishment of cooperation with the Small & Medium Business Agency," the MoE said.

The WB Regional Director stated that at present nine projects are being implemented in Azerbaijan with the WB’s support and new areas of cooperation are outlined.
