VTB Head: It is important that our bank works in Azerbaijan

September 6, Fineko/abc.az. VTB CEO Andrey Kostin spoke about bank's future activities, including the fact that it will maintain its presence in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that according to Kostin, it is difficult to open new branches and subsidiary banks now.

"I think it is important to preserve and create a proper system of functioning of those banks that exist. And in general, we have banks with the exception of Arab countries in our key partner jurisdictions, that is, China, India, Vietnam, as well as neighboring countries - Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan. It is important that they (banks) work," Kostin added.
