Russia’s oil & gas income grew by 50%, despite sanctions

September 8, Fineko/abc.az. West's attempt to restrict energy exports from the Russian Federation has led to an increase in oil & gas proceeds of the Russian budget almost by 50%.

ABC.AZ reports that Russian PM Mikhail Mishustin said this on Thursday, when delivering speech at the Moscow Financial Forum.

"The attempt to limit energy exports has caused natural increase in oil & gas revenues of our budget - almost by half," Mishustin said.
