This country to buy oil from Russia

September 12, Fineko/abc.az. Indonesia is considering a possibility to import oil from Russia to curb rising energy prices on the domestic market.

ABC.AZ reports that Indonesian President Joko Widodo stated about this in an interview for British newspaper Financial Times.
Vidodo responded positively to the question of whether Indonesia is going to buy Russian oil: "We always monitor all options. If there is a country that sells at the best price, of course... The Government is obliged to find various resources to meet the energy needs of its people. We want to find a solution."
According to the newspaper, if Indonesia decides to follow the example of India and China, which, thanks to the discount provided, have significantly increased purchases of Russian oil, this will help the Russian Federation compensate for a significant part of the losses from the reduction in supplies to Europe.
