Oil is stable after increase, and Brent is at $93.43 a barrel

October 6, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of benchmark grades are growing weakly in Thursday’s trading after a significant rise the day before.

The price of December’s Brent crude futures at the London ICE Futures Exchange increased by $0.06 (0.06%) to $93.43 per barrel by 09:16 am. Following the trading on 5 October, those contracts rose by $1.57 (1.71%) to $93.37 per barrel.

The price of November’s futures for WTI crude oil on the electronic trading of the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) by 09:16 am rose by $0.05 (0.06%) to $87.81 per barrel. Following the trading on 5 October, the value of those contracts grew by $1.24 (1.43%) to $87.76 per barrel.

At Wednesday’s meeting the OPEC+ ministers decided to reduce quotas for oil production in November by 2 million b/d.
