Azerbaijan Railways replaces turnout switches

June 7, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan Railways (ADY) continues the next phase of overhaul of the 600 km section of Baku – Beyuk-Kesik railway line.

The Company reports that installation of new turnout switches has been carried out in parallel since September 2016

"The first such turnout was installed on 9 September 2016, and to date, 167 switches have been replaced.  At the moment, capital repairs of three turnout switches at the Puta station is undreway. Work will be carried out in stages by the team of Specialized Railway Enterprise #5," ADY informed.
