Seven banks’ transfers to special reserves increased

December 5, Fineko/abc.az. Seven out of the 26 banks operating in Azerbaijan allocated more to special reserves for Jan-Sept 2022 than for Jan-Sept 2021.

ABC.AZ reports that among them are Turan Bank, Ziraat Bank Azerbaycan, International Bank of Azerbaijan, Xalq Bank, Unibank, Access Bank and Yapı Kredi Bank Azerbaycan. The highest dynamics was recorded on Access Bank (13-fold) and the lowest on Yapı Kredi Bank Azerbaycan (32.7%).

Six banks – Kapital Bank, Bank Avrasiya, Günay Bank, Rabitəbank, Naxçıvan Bank and PASHA Bank - reduced their investments in special reserves. The largest decrease was recorded on PASHA Bank (88%) and the smallest on Kapital Bank (28.8%).

The savings of four banks increased –AFB Bank, Bank of Baku and Bank VTB Azerbaijan, as well as the Baku branch of the National Bank of Pakistan on allocation to special reserves. The highest dynamics was recorded in the Bank of Pakistan (2.5-fold) and the lowest in Bank VTB Azerbaijan (64.7%). Two banks - Bank Respublika and Yelo Bank - reduced their savings on transfers to special reserves by 66.1% and 81.9%, respectively.

Four banks – Mugan Bank, Bank BTB, Azer-Türk Bank, Premium Bank – allocated finances to special reserves for Jan-Sept 2022, saved money for the Jan-Sept 2021, three banks – Express Bank and Azerbaijan Industrial Bank, Baku branch of the National Bank of Iran – for 9 months of this year saved on special reserves, allocated funds for Jan-Sept 2021. Therefore, it was not possible to calculate the dynamics of transfers/savings of these banks on special reserves.
