Cost of oil Azeri Light rises

June 27, Fineko/abc.az. Cost of a barrel of Azerbaijan's oil Azeri Light has increased by $0.68 (0.9%).

The price of oil grade Azeri Light is now $76.25 a barrel.

The lowest price for Azeri Light was fixed in December 2001 - $19.15 and highest price in July 2008 - $149.66.

At the New York Merchant Exchange (NYMEX) following the trading the value of August’s futures of oil grade WTI, compared to last closing of trading (June 25 - $68.08 a barrel), grew by $2.45 (3.6%) up to $70.53 a barrel.

At the London ICE (InterContinental Exchange Futures) following the trading, the cost of August’s futures of oil grade of Brent crude, compared to last closing of trading (June 25 - $74.73 a barrel), increased by $1.58 (2.21%) up to $76.31 a barrel.

The price gap between Brent and WTI following trading on June 26 is $5.78 on a barrel.
