Finance Minister to hold bilateral meetings with reps of WB and IMF

July 2, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijani Finance Minister Samir Sharifov took part in the meeting of the Election Group of the International Monetary Fund (IFC) and the World Bank, held in Warsaw yesterday.

The Ministry of Finance informs that the meeting was organized by the National Bank and the Ministry of Finance of Poland.

"During the meeting, which was attended by high-ranking officials of the IMF and WB member states, as well as reps of international financial institutions, the current issues and questions of interest to the group members, given global and regional prospects, were covered," the Ministry said.

A range of bilateral meetings are expected within the framework of the visit.
