July 2, Fineko/abc.az. A trilateral meeting of the Azerbaijan Insurance Companies’ Association (ASA), the State Agency for Citizen Services & Social Innovations (ASAN) and the Compulsory Insurers Bureau (ISB) has been held.

ASA reports that the main topic of the meeting was the issue of giving of reference #4 of the State Road Police by the State Agency.

"The delay in the issuance of this reference is a cause of delay in insurance compensation, and that, in turn, leads to decrease in confidence of insured party. Given the social significance of the issue, ensuring the prompt issuance of certificates and payments will lead to an increase in the number of satisfied customers. This system will also be beneficial for the existing ISB e-system," ASA chairman of board Mustafa Abbasbeyli said during the meeting.

It is also proposed provision of sale of travel insurance through Asan Visa, that which will simplify the acquisition of insurance and is important in terms of receiving compensation in case of an unexpected insured event and even repatriation in case of death.

"As a result, a decision to create a special workgroup and expansion of work in this direction," ASA informed.
