July 25, Fineko/abc.az. SOCAR AQS and UK oil service company KCA Deutag are establishing a joint venture.

SOCAR AQS reports that the parties will sign a relevant agreement on 26 July.

Earlier, Diane Stewart, the head of KCA Deutag Communications Department, informed that the Company intends to continue its participation in projects in Azerbaijan and the Caspian region.

KCA Deutag is one of the BP’s main contractors not only in Azerbaijan, but also in other countries, particularly in Kazakhstan.

The Company has been operating in Azerbaijan for more than 20 years. The company is headquartered in Aberdeen, UK.

Currently, SOCAR AQS is conducting drilling operations at the Gunashli, West Absheron, Umid and Bulla fields.
