Azerbaijan has repaired 378 km section of railway line Baku-Boyuk Kesik

Azerbaijani Railways (ADY) continues capital repairs of railroad Baku – Boyuk Kesik.

ADY reports that overhaul of the 12.8 km section of Sigirli-Karrar has been launched.

"Repair of this section will be finished within ten days," ADY said.

On 14 April 2015, ADY and Czech company MORAVIA STEEL signed an additional agreement to the export agreement on implementation of the second phase of the project of the reconstruction of Azerbaijani railways.

The contract envisages material and technical supply and overhaul of the 600 km railway line Baku – Boyuk Kesik. So far, 378 km of the railroad have been repaired within the second phase.
