Azerbaijan's ACG sold 246 million tons of profit oil

246 million tons of profit oil produced from Azerbaijani sector of the Caspian Sea oilfield block Azeri, Chirag and deepwater Gunashli was sold at the world market as of 1 October of the year.

Within the Caspian Technical Conference, held in Baku, Advisor to the First Vice President of the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) Alakbar Abbasov has stated that 438 million tons of oil and 138 bn cu m of gas were extracted from the beginning of ACG development.

"During the reporting period it was exported 459 million tons of Azerbaijani oil, of which 342 million tons accounted for pipeline Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan," Abbasov said.
