August 6, Fineko/abc.az. According to the National Department for Hydrometeorology of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, currently, water richness holds 110% of decade norm in Quba-Khachmaz region rivers of Major Caucasus, 50140% in Minor Caucasus rivers, 25-50% in Lankaran-Astara region rivers and 5% in Nakhchivan AR.

Current condition in the transit rivers

On August 06, no change in water level was issued in Giragkesemen settlement of Kura river. Currently water consumption holds 73m3/sec in the settlement, i.e 55% of decade norm (in 2017, 50m3/sec, i.e 38% of decade norm. 2cm increase in water level has been observed in Ayrichay settlement of Qanikh River. At present, water consumption hold 50m3/sec, i.e 72% of decade norm (in 2017, 12,5m3/sec, i.e 18% of decade norm).

Current condition in the downstream of Kura river

On August 06, decrease in water level has been observed in the downstream of Kura River. In this regard, 1cm in Surra, 4 cm in Shirvan, 2 cm in Banka, 3 cm in Novruzlu settlement of Aras,  while 2cm increase in Salyan.

At present, water level holds 319cm (on August 06, 2017, 348cm) in Surra settlement, 159cm (on August 06, 2017, 203) in Shirvan, 85cm (on August 06, 2017, 117cm) in Salyan, 175cm (on August 06, 2017, 171cm) in Banka, while 35cm (on August 06, 2017, 60cm) in Novruzlu settlement of Aras.
