Diagnosis of effectiveness of tax holidays proposed in Azerbaijan

The Accounts Chamber of Azerbaijan has published conclusion of the Draft State Budget 2018.

The conclusion says that the fiscal policy for 2018 should include diagnostics of the efficiency of tax privileges and holidays.

Also, the conclusion suggests development of projects of reform in the promotion of nonoil export in taxation, optimization of State Budget finances in activities of governmental agencies with economic calculation, making of a list of goods and the date of application of differentiated value added tax.

The recommendations also suggest limiting field tax audits by the method of time-keeping among small-size businesses.
