Baku Transport Agency modernizes pedestrian crossings in capital

August 24, Fineko/abc.az. The Baku Transport Agency (BNA) is taking measures aimed at improving the quality of pedestrian crossings.

The Agency reports that shortcomings in operation of crossings were revealed in 2017 and now measures are being taken to eliminate them.

"The crossings that failed to conform to standards have been reconstructed and put into operation on various streets and avenues. New elements have been added to ensure safety - ramps and arcs have been installed at some addresses," BNA said in a statement.

Work in this direction continues.
