August 30, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijani brand Khazar has made its debut at the International Moscow Motor Show.

IMMS reports that car plant in Neftechala Industrial Zone started operating in the spring of the current year.

The Khazar car models are produced at the Iran-Azerbaijan enterprise, in which Iran Khodro and Azeurocar invested.

According to the agreements, about 10,000 cars will be manufactured annually by the Iranian-Azerbaijani factory.

First of all was production of inexpensive models similar to Iranian Dena, which is produced by the developers of Iran Khodro. The "K" and "H" letters are placed on the radiator grille instead of the horse logo.

In the future the factory will produce cars SD, LD, Peugeot-206, Peugeot-207, as well as Tondar and Pick-Up from Renault.

The produced vehicles will meet modern safety standards and Euro-5 requirements. After Khazar becomes quite popular in the Azerbaijani market, 2,000 models will be supplied to Russia, Africa and the Middle East.
