August 30, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan has approved quota for the employment of persons with disabilities.

The Ministry of Labor & Social Protection informs that the category of persons facing the problem of employment and in need of social security is specified in the Law on Employment.

"This list includes persons with disabilities and physical disabilities aged under 18 years, young people aged under 20 years, parents with many children, parents raising children with disabilities aged under 18 years, persons of pre-retirement age (less than 2 years), former prisoners, and IDPs," the Ministry reported.

Also, additional social security is designed for citizens from this category, in particular definition of quota for them. Size of the quota will be determined depending on the state of the labor market in the relevant administrative territory and no more than 5% of the total number of employees.

"Employers who will not comply with this quota will be held accountable," the Ministry reported.
