August 31, Fineko/abc.az.  According to the National Department for Hydrometeorology of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, currently, water richness holds 160% of decade norm in Quba-Khachmaz region rivers of Major Caucasus, 90-110% in Minor Caucasus rivers, 50-150% in Lankaran-Astara region rivers and 5% in Nakhchivan AR.

Current condition in the transit rivers

On August 31, 6cm decrease in water level was issued in Giragkesemen settlement of Kura river. Currently water consumption holds 88m3/sec in the settlement, i.e 72% of decade norm (in 2017, 63m3/sec, i.e 52% of decade norm. 8cm decrease in water level has been observed in Ayrichay settlement of Qanikh River. At present, water consumption hold 69m3/sec, i.e 101% of decade norm (in 2017, 10,5m3/sec, i.e 15% of decade norm).

Current condition in the downstream of Kura river

On August 31, decrease in water level has been observed in the downstream of Kura River. In this regard, 4cm in Shirvan, 1 cm in Banka, 6cm in Salyan, 9cm in Surra and 5 cm in Novruzlu settlement of Aras.

At present, water level holds 320cm (on August 31, 2017, 347cm) in Surra settlement, 179cm (on August 31, 2017, 227) in Shirvan, 107cm (on August 31, 2017, 153cm) in Salyan, 171cm (on August 31, 2017, 187cm) in Banka, while 45cm (on August 31, 2017, 52cm) in Novruzlu settlement of Aras.
