17 new turnouts under installation on Sangachal and Geran train stations

September 20, Fineko/abc.az. The next stage of capital repairs is ongoing in the railway system of Azerbaijan: work is underway on the 600 km railway line Baku – Boyuk-Kesik. Simultaneously, Specialized Railway Enterprises #5 and #11 have been installing new turnout switches since September 2016.
The first such switch was installed on 9 September 2016, and 209 ones have already been replaced to date.
Installation of 17 new turnouts on the Sangachal and Geran railway stations is underway. The work will be fulfilled in stages.
