By end of 2018 Azerbaijan plans to finish process of raising a $1.5 bn loan for Southern Gas Corridor

October 9, Fineko/abc.az. The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) plans to complete the process of raising a loan for the Southern Gas Corridor Project at the end of 2018.

Vitaly Beglyarbekov, SOCAR Deputy Vice President for Investment & Marketing, has stated that the loan in the amount of $1.5 bn will be raised from German agency Hermes.

"Negotiations on the occasion have already ended and an arrangement has been reached," Beglyarbekov said.
