November 14, Fineko/abc.az. Analytical agency Turstat has presented the rating of the best and most popular kinds of Santa Claus among tourists on the CIS area and Georgia in the coming winter.

Russia’s Ded Moroz marks its birthday in Veliky Ustyug, Vologda Oblast, on 18 November. On this day, Ded Moroz turns on the lights on the first Christmas tree in Russia and meets his Santa Claus counterparts from all over the country and CIS countries.

Santa Claus Top 10 of popular tourist destination on the CIS area includes Dzed Maroz in Belarus, Ayaz Ata in Kazakhstan, Shakhta Baba in Azerbaijan, Kakhand Papa in Armenia, Korbobo in Uzbekistan, Mosh Craciun in Moldova, Ayaz Ata in Kyrgyzstan, Boboi Barfi in Tajikistan, Ayaz Baba in Turkmenistan and Tovlis Papa in Georgia.

The Santa Claus rating is based on the results of the analysis of tourists' visits to the residences of Santa Clauses.
