Central Bank’s currency reserves increased by $54.5 million last month

December 4, Fineko/abc.az. Foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) increased by $54.5 million in November or almost by 1% versus October of the year.

According to the CBA, currency reserves amounted to $5.59 bn on 1 December against $5.536 bn on 1 November, $5.534 bn on 1 October, $5.503 bn on 1 September, and $5.546 bn on 1 August.

"Currency reserves totaled $5.512 bn on 1 July, $5.47 bn on 1 June, $5.465 bn on 1 May, $5.508 bn on 1 April, $5.387 bn on 1 March, $5.38 bn on 1 February and $5.334 bn on 1 January," the CBA said.

Thus, for Jan-Nov 2018 CBA's currency reserves increased by $256.3 million or 4.8%. In 2017, Central Bank's currency reserves grew by 34.2%.
