OPEC+ ministers agree on need to reduce oil production

December 6, Fineko/abc.az. The OPEC+ ministers agreed yesterday at a meeting of the Monitoring Committee on the need to reduce oil production, including Russia.

Minister of Oil & Gas Mohammed bin Hamad ar-Rumhi of Oman told reporters after the meeting of the Committee that everyone at today's meeting agreed that it is necessary to reduce oil production.

"The consensus - we need to reduce. Quotas for the reduction of production in 2019 may be about 1 million bpd," Mohammed bin Hamad ar-Rumhi added.
