December 7, Fineko/abc.az. Kazakhstan is ready to reduce oil production within the OPEC+ deal and does not plan to ask for exceptions for itself on terms of reduced production.

The statement about that was made by Kazakh Energy Minister Kanat Bozumbayev at a media conference.

"We’ll support as usual. We’re ready to reduce and cut oil production," he said. He, however, did not disclose any specific volumes of production cuts, noting that they will depend on the outcome of OPEC negotiations.

He added that Kazakhstan will soon be able to achieve production of 370,000 bpd at the Kashagan field.
