December 25, Fineko/abc.az.  Bakcell, the First Mobile Operator and the Fastest Mobile Internet Provider in Azerbaijan held yet another “Introduction to mobile telecommunications” seminar for journalists.

The main purpose of the seminar, traditionally held for five years in a row, is to enlighten the local journalists in such areas as the essentials of mobile telecommunications, modern technologies, innovations and latest trends. Seminar held with participation of more than 30 journalists from various leading media sources of the country was designed to increase the level of awareness in the area of mobile telecommunications as well as further development of professional skills of journalists who are covering this industry.

“Mobile telecommunications is one of the fastest growing industries. Therefore, behavior and demands of mobile communication services users, as well as the products and services offered by the mobile operators change rapidly. We are conducting this kind of seminars on regular basis in order to ensure that journalists, who cover the telecommunications and information technologies area are well-aware of all the novelties, and to help them raise their professional level even further” says Suheyla Jafarova, Head of PR and Corporate Communications Department of Bakcell.

During the seminar, held in Sheki city, the journalists received the opportunity to take part in interactive sessions on such topics as “The latest state of mobile internet: applications and devices”, “Video consumption – the leading force of modern content policy”, “Mobile financial services”, “Customer care digitalization”, “4G network advantages and coverage” and “Digital Natives”. The leading specialists of Bakcell representing various areas and departments have provided the journalists with detailed information about the latest products and services of the company, as well as the new “WiFi in your home” product.
