December 25, Fineko/abc.az. The Agency for Agricultural Loans & Development (under the Ministry of Agriculture of Azerbaijan) has held a meeting with heads of the domestic banks. 
During the meeting Agency’s chair Mirza Aliyev acquainted the banks’ representatives with the Rules of use of Agency’s loans. The document on the Rules was approved by the presidential decree from 19 December 2018. 

Aliyev noted that the new rules also provide favorable conditions for large producers, and added that a loan in the amount of $1 million could be given for purchase of agricultural machinery at the expense of the AALD.

Agency’s chair also stressed the advantages of the Rules of leasing of agricultural machinery. 
"Farmers can now buy equipment from any manufacturers and sellers," Aliyev emphasized.
